Lived Experiences Matter!
How dealing with difficult people has given her the ability to pass on valuable lessons learned over her long, experience-filled lifetime. You will be able relate to her stories and have many aha moments while reading her book. Being a life-long educator and biologist has given her the unique ability and opportunity to share those relatable experiences with you. She has written this book for several reasons:
It is a cautionary tale of how a person can be caught in the narcissist’s trap and suffer a lifetime of abuse just from that one relationship.

She has done the research for you, delving into every aspect of narcissism so you are protected from becoming a serial narcissists’ partner. The wisdom in this book about the “Hows” and the “Whys” of this personality disorder will fortify you with the ability to spot them before they “hook” you with alternating between “love bombing” and deprivation that causes you to become trauma-bonded to them. Knowing this will empower you to walk away unscathed.

To give you, the reader the understanding of what is truly happening in those kinds of relationships. It will enable you to keep yourself safe from people like that, who can only do you harm, because they cannot help it. You will never ask questions like this again:

“What is happening to me?” “Should I leave him after 10 years of marriage, …or after 2 children?”

It is also a “How-To” book to give you the tools, not only to spot the “red-flags” to overt the dangers of getting into a relationship with a narcissist partner, but also gives you the tools if you are in a relationship with a narcissist, to outsmart them with tested strategies you can use to keep your emotions out of their hands, build back your self-esteem, get out gracefully, heal and reclaim your life!
